VOLUNTEER
Join us at Leonard's Mills for educational and fun activities The Museum is well-known for its strong volunteer corps. The site, its buildings and programs have been created by hundreds of talented and dedicated volunteers from all walks of life, and from around the State. We sponsor the popular Living History Day in July, and the two-day Living History Days in October, as well as several other special events, educational tours, bean-hole-bean dinners for groups and other events at the site.
If you have a special knack for teaching or building, or like to roll up your sleeves and pitch in, we'd enjoy meeting you! There's such a variety of activities--indoors and out, with the public or behind the scenes, hammering on a roof or researching in old books, demonstrating crafts and tools, or taking tickets---we're sure you'll find something to match your interests and time. We provide training, and you'll meet a great group of people!Click here for the Volunteer Form.
Whether serving on a committee, guiding a school group, welcoming visitors, dishing up bean-hole beans, telephoning from your home, or sharing another skill, you will feel a part of the Leonard's Mills family.
